Common Feedback from Our Wigmakers

Ghost Bond After application, the glue may turn black the longer you wear your wigs. If this happens, remove the wig, wash it, then reinstall the unit.

Great for use for poly systems, toupees and man wigs.

Bold Hold – Tends to dry much faster than the Ghost Bond. This adhesive has a superior grip and hold. If you do not carefully follow removal instructions, you could possibly damage your edges.

TIP: Use a microfiber cloth to easily remove the glue.  It will roll right off.  (do not wet the cloth)

**Please follow directions for both adhesives or seek a professional for installation and removal**

*Always perform a patch test on your clients to test for skin sensitivities*

Conclusion

The two wig adhesives are great products and are fairly similar. The only real difference that was noticed is that Ghost Bond specified that the product was great for poly systems!

It is safe to say that there is not one universal adhesive that will work best for everyone.  Different individuals require different levels of bonding and hold time. It’s all subjective to a person’s preference and lifestyle.
